The fellowship provided me the opportunity to get mentored by the prof. Patrick Bours (NTNU). Working with Patrick allowed me to grow both professionally and personally. I learned new research techniques and practices, and thereby, got several reputed publications. I also got the opportunity to co-supervise various bachelor and master students with him. His supervising experience helped me to work with students in their problems and direct them in a friendly and efficient manner, which improved my leadership skills. He also involved me in the discussions of various research projects. The facilities in the host organization help to conduct the experiments on high-end computing machines. The research exchange programme, invited lectures, workshops, and conferences allowed me to present my work to the well-known international researchers and collaborate with them. I am also very thankful to the people at the ERCIM office especially Catherine Riou. She was always there to help, assist and give directions to everything I needed in this fellowship program.
This fellowship has changed my status in the job market and augmented the chances of getting my dream jobs. This was a fantastic opportunity to grow as a researcher and establish international contacts both in academia as well as industry.
